Kula Fruit Initiative for Stanley Mission
Kula is the Sanskrit word for community, clan, family, or tribe. I have always been passionate about gathering people, creating community, and contributing to the greater good of my local/global community. I am spearheading an initiative with my sister-in-law, Michelle Climenhaga to “Shareback” to the Keethanow Elementary school in Stanley Mission by providing fresh fruit to the children and teachers at the school until the end of the school year in June 2025. There are 365 children in the school and many of the people in our Northern communities do not have access to the food, housing, healthcare, or resources that they need to be well. All donations made towards this initiative go directly to serving the Stanley Mission community. You can donate to this cause by joining one of my Kula offerings that are labelled as fresh fruit fundraisers, or make a direct donation. For more information about donating directly, email:darleneblanch@shaw.ca
A “Shareback” is sharing blessings back into the community to serve the greater good of the human collective.
Thank you! Darlene & Michelle
